Elle Sibley has an exhibition at a cafe in Murwillumbah. One painting really caught my eye...we bought it.

Gaz that's a terrific painting. You've done well to get that one.

When I first joined WBF they made me write a book to prove I was a real yachty. I was so gullible.
Bargain, there's about $100 of material on that painting.
I love that style of knife painting.
It's all fun and games until Darth Vader comes.
Please tell us it didn't come from Bunnings ......

Another one of a string of dead calm days, we have had many this year. The wid systems circulate and seem to leave a calm spot right over central Vic.
I'm getting the Kayak out today, forecast is for a sunny day and the water is not cold. And still very dry, all our rain is coming from fine mist or a few sharp storms.
Still raining here.

Still not raining here……. temps 3c - 20c today with early fog and bright sunshine.
Ed to say: If it was still sailing season there'd have been none for a fortnight, not enough wind.

Still dead calm and dry, cool not cold (2.30am). We just had a string of beautiful calm, sunny days.
Rain promised today and onwards, but that's been forecast before.
Supposed to get 30 to 60mm today but it's clear skies at the moment.

Not cold, dead calm, a few showers. 20mm in 3 weeks……..
Well, the rain didn't kick until around 3.30pm and it seems to have been fairly light so far...so a good bit of cloud and sunshine today.

Warm, a few showers, dead still.
There was a pic of the regular mid week Port Phillip keel boat races on the news. No wind, motor out, motor back, fend off each other in the interim. Hope they had a few beers on board
The heavy rain didn't happen....and the sun is shining. This may take some getting use too.

Not cold, dense fog, dead still, no rain.
and I have to drive to Melbourne in about half an hour.
The boys went out into the straight during the last few days of still weather and caught us all e feed.

Yes, Change of Govt and things are looking up! Meanwhile back in the front yard work has been progressing on our recently purchased Franklyn 1980’s caravan. It is now painter satin white inside, with a new engineered tas oak floor, the original iron bed frame modified to suit a standard size double bed mattress with slats instead of springs. New master cylinder for the breaks and in the future I think I’ll fit a straight axle to replace the U axle so as to lift the height so the rear end doesn’t drag when driving over a dip etc.
Consequently I haven’t worked on the boat for a few weeks but am waiting for the engine to arrive. Still lots to do elsewhere though.

Friends bought a caravan last year, or the year before...it's hard to tell what happened when these days. Anyway it had a few leaks so they started pulling lining off. The framing was rubbish stapled together, I was a bit stunned given how much they paid for it.
