Probably 20 masts for who knows what, and then there the 10 or so in the roof of the last old rack.
Then there's the old boats, mixture of wood and plastic, 'too good to throw out' says the committee, but no room for the new ones..

Pity about the Dragon mast especially.
Is there any old Corsair 16ís we have members looking in our SC. ?

Also I am looking for another couple of wooden blocks for my gaff rig conversion.

A Corsair might not be possible, but the Wooden Dinghy Regatta is coming along and I'll include a 'looking for' on the website.
Wooden blocks I may be able to help with. Specs?

Speaking of wooden blocks, does anyone have any small ones excess to requirements ? Or I'll start making my own!

Not sure what the temp is but it's bloody warm. Hour and half mowing this morning and just now was out in the shed ripping timber for beamshelf and stringer repair...phew!
A cold shower sort of helped.

I dream of bilges like that...clean. Maybe I will get lucky and actually fix the problem this time. Countdown to haulout. Of course my outboard is playing up but I'm pretty sure its water or muck in the fuel bowl..find out Saturday.

I was expecting a perfect balsa model of the engine ! Perfectly accurate but light to move .

My trailer is now registered....in Queensland . A simple matter as the NSW mob were making things absolutely impossible, changing rules without advising . I sold it unregistered to a friend and he registered it and he'll sell it back to me when I'm allowed to drive again. Now to work out how to get JIM onto the trailer !

Well... first you need to somehow get JIM to Queensland with no trailer!

She's got a decent rig on her for a steel boat. The masts poke a fairly good hole in the sky

Name the date, probably won’t need as many hands either since I have been in training lifting WB Gaff mast.

I got to agree, but I'd need a crew. We have 2 already in the club and very popular they are too.

That would be fun but first I'll try lifting her with 2 chain blocks and ropes then push the trailer underneath a hanging boat.

She is nice. Some work needed here and there but, really, what a great boat for the money!

You go to the boat show and see so much crap for ridiculous money when there are lovely boats like this available for a fraction of the price.

Not sure if I'm making up memories but did we discuss Forstner bits a while ago, and if so can anyone recall the verdict?

That makes a lot of sense.

The car is loaded with everything, tools and material wise that I think I will need for the first week on the hard. I'm taking all that up to the slipyard tomorrow, I'm hoping to store it there till Monday.

Not that I recall. But what is the question? I use them a lot. New ones are often blunt but otherwise, they're a great tool.

Well all the tools etc are on site. Just have to get the outboard running tomorrow and im set. I really hate transporting ply on the roof rack.
