Found a nice four-leaf clover in a book from 1914 that I was tossing out....

    It’s a Pansy.

Oooo...sorry 'bout that. We've told our kids that if we separate or both move out or croak, just take what they want and call "Louie The Torch" and burn the place.

Yeah, but there's the rub... because I'm still alive, no-one will put their hands up for anything, so I've got to figure out what to keep.

Wait till I get to all the bronze pumps and boat fittings...

How about I throw in a free 50' cruiser, with a pump or two?

We don't have the water dragons or the brush turkeys, but we have the rest, including deer. And Lace Monitors, an Emu just after xmas and the occasional koala. Sulphur Crested's roost at our place overnight but are gone at first light.
Our resident Red Bellied Black made an appearance yesterday whilst I was wading about in the pond, but seemed as unconcerned as I was.

We're hosting big mobs of red tailed black cockatoos at the moment. The love the pine trees I have here. 65 year old slash pine ,the cones must have tasty seeds.

OOOOooo...sounds like your place is worse than mine after all! Although we still have friends who come over and look around saying, "Ever heard of that TV show; American Pickers? Call 'em."

What an offer! But I suspect that the immediate cost of that pump could escalate very quickly.

An interesting idea for a launching trailer.

Oh boy it is hot and humid or what. Cold showers help for about 5 minutes.

2 weeks ago I learned how to dig footings. Then I learned how to put steel reinforcement in a slab. I didn't learn much about pouring concrete because I got a concrete guy to do that. But I helped him, so I learned a bit. Yesterday I learned how to do concrete grinding/polishing and today I learned how to make a stone wall 30 cm higher. Tomorrow I'm going sailing.

Thinking of buying a new boat, this one should see me out. What do you think of her?

Nice, just worried that anchor might accidentally deploy and you'll spend the rest of your life going around in circles.

Looks a bit like it doesn't it. The building has been there forever, I'm just adding a bit of height to two of the walls, so that we can build a roof that goes over the top, across the new room and ties in with the house roof.

Yeah that could be a worry. Where’s granddad? I think he’s still doing donuts in the car park.

I'm actually really envious. I love stone buildings. Has to be hard work but I'd enjoy what you're doing.

Yep, Norfolk's going to get hammered. Nice place - I hope there's not too much damage. Tonga got thrashed - it would have to be a miracle if it's true that there were no fatalities. Maybe all that praying, screeching and crying actually works!

Hey the mainsail cover is still on , fella.

There hasn't been much word about the Fijian southern Lau group either, Rick. It rolled over Ono I lau and Turtle Island , and of course we're wondering about the people we met in Fulaga ( 40 or 60 miles North)

Yep. How do people living on flat islands, a metre or two above sea level, survive storms like this?

Look up slip form Rick it’s a simpler technique. Uses a bit more cement though.

They's got to be some concrete behind the rocks in that top one otherwise some of those rocks wouldn't stay put...looks good though.

Trying not to slip while carrying a 30 kilo rock up a rickety ladder. That’s the trick.
