Broken away from a mooring? Doesn't have that `tragedy at sea' look, thankfully (I hope).

I looks like a failed attempt to enter or exit the marina with a second prize of beaching near the entry channel. Local talk is that it has been for sale while berthed for some time about a mile up the river, and was recently bought. There hasn't been any info about casualties which makes me suspect there were none, apart from the boat.

Fixer upper.
As for me, no wind yesterday, 25kts today…………. the water's cold.
A new boom, some sails and a little paint and she'll be right. Always a sad sight.
According to locals it had previously attempted to leave the Port Adelaide River and did not succeed. It looks like this time it got out of the river, but only just. The beach it is on is immediately South of the river entrance.

If war is the answer........... it must be a profoundly stupid question.

My new modified pulpit, unfortunately he forgot the mounting tabs for the step/seat but I can work around that.

When push comes to shove.....
Ok here is another variation of a picture posted on Sibbos existing Jim thread which I’m thinking of continuing. Providing I am not crossing some sort of ethically incorrect boundaries.?
You would know the spot just down the road from their house, Unfortunately lacking the small waterfall I’ve spotted there previously..

I thought it was a push pit, but that was at 5 am in the dark with the screen down low, but since it is a pulpit I go back to the eagle. That would truly make a statement, I want one myself.
I wonder if the copper chook would do?
The obliquity was incidental, or co incidental.
Yer gonna have a seat on the pulpit??
Since the thing's junk rigged, a dragon would fit.

A seat is planned. I spent some time in the shed fiddling with ideas for the seat. The present option is a piece of pretend (as in plastic) wooden decking timber. I was given a couple of lengths a while back. One side is grooved so it would be non slip.
Off to visit Redwing tomorrow to do some work so I will be test positioning the pulpit.

Ok so it shall.
In the meantime I am getting WB ready for the Vintage Regatta and crossing the Queensland border before it closes again.

Working on Redwing today and of course you always forget something vital when you are an hours drive from home. In this case it was a phillips head bit, luckily Gil on one of the other yachts had one. I haven't been to the wharf for some weeks so I always have a look at anything new. Sure enough there's this very nice ketch tied up, owned by a young bloke learning to sail.
What do you think?

I built a pulpit seat for a 10 yr old 13 years ago, she used to spend hours out there.

Surprised she still fits. Photo in March.
