I'd very much like to reposition the oil filter on my Volvo D1-30. It's a spin-on cartridge and a real PITA as it's almost hard up against the side of the engine compartment, difficult to access and I spill oil every time I change the filter.
Googling around tells me that remote oil filter kits exist, which include adapaters, hose and a remote filter mount, but they seem to be mostly for the hotrod and 4WD community.
Anybody got any knowledge of marine suitable kits?
