    Dave,

I pleased with most things to this point. If the trailer is too stiff, I'm in trouble. It's a torsion axle suspension! Do you have insurance specifically for Terrapin? If so can I PM you for some specifics?

    Mike,

Thanks very much and I've had my troubles with the color scheme but like it now. Sailing soon I hope!

I have not insured Terrapin. First ask both your home and car insurers what coverage they will extend to the boat under your current policies. It's probably more than you expect. That's the extent of what I have on Terrapin.

In the past, I have insured trailered boats, always through Boat U.S. I never had to make a claim, but others who did were satisfied. They will cover highway issues, too.

On the torsion suspension, I don't think it would be crazy to add a bit of ballast to the trailer. Have any lead lying around?

And Greg -- one other question, do you plan on sailing Lake Nockamixon any time? I'm down there often enough.

I'll see how she trails first but yes, I have thought of making the rig heavier... (odd, isn't it?) Insurance seems a breeze for agreed value through GEICO/BOAT US as long as you have a state registration. I'll be looking more closely at this but not immediately.

I have looked at Nockamixon as Kent Launched his Myst there. Didnt know of the lake before, only Wallenpaupack. I will likely trail there sometime and would be pleased to meet up there. I would also like to develop the idea of a cruise down the Chester to St Mike's as we talked over before. I've never sailed the Wye...

    Sailing season upon us!

Greetings! I plan to launch this Sunday, many things to do yet... No recent pix as my Flicker account is full for free hosting (600) I'll have to go back and delete some to add final pictures and maybe a video if I can figure out how...

You can post photos and videos here directly, without uploading to flicker first, you know...

Can't wait to see the results of all your work. Good luck with the launch!
