Since what Peter? I love everything about this design but your post is a bit obscure without any explanation/text. Is that July 2011 on the plan? I can't read LOA/LWL... 6.38m??

Edited to add.....or do you mean it seems like 100 years since starting on this design?

Or, that the design would have been right at home 100 years ago. Just my speed.

Peter, that is rather lovely. I love designs where there is no counter at all. Just looks so Gilded Age yachty. :-)

hi Gerard, yes i have designed different boats but its hard to know what people want in an economy which is bursting with cheap or free boats of every description, this is really just a daysailer, i also have other designs pilot cutters, smacks, fishing boats, ketches, clippers, colin archers, itchen ferries,m f v yachts, motor ferries, schooners, yawls, trading ketches, sailing barges, norfolk wherry yacht, big 25 to 40 metre racing cutters, big 20 to 35 metre cruising schooners, 30 to 50 metre racing schooners , 40 metre fishing schooners, workboats, tugs, but people dont want to see plans until they are professionally draughted which costs

Thanks for the link. I hadn't read it but I look forward to doing so.

To be honest, I spend very little time on other forums, such as boatdesign, and sailing anarchy because I waste so much time here I'd have no life at all left if I became addicted to those forums as well. Although, I do sometimes go to latts and atts to look at sailing breastesses.

    I also like yours.

By the way, there are a lot of plans for old-style boats that are available from the Smithsonian for about $15 each, and you can build as many boats as you want from those. There are even some yachts a bit like the one you've drawn here.

Is there anything like that in England?
