Since what Peter? I love everything about this design but your post is a bit obscure without any explanation/text. Is that July 2011 on the plan? I can't read LOA/LWL... 6.38m??
Edited to add.....or do you mean it seems like 100 years since starting on this design?

Or, that the design would have been right at home 100 years ago. Just my speed.

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
yes very similar Paul,thanks
Peter, that is rather lovely. I love designs where there is no counter at all. Just looks so Gilded Age yachty. :-)

Thanks for the link. I hadn't read it but I look forward to doing so.
To be honest, I spend very little time on other forums, such as boatdesign, and sailing anarchy because I waste so much time here I'd have no life at all left if I became addicted to those forums as well. Although, I do sometimes go to latts and atts to look at sailing breastesses.![]()

yes its lovely John, the saint michel is in the latest copy of chasse maree
I also like yours.
By the way, there are a lot of plans for old-style boats that are available from the Smithsonian for about $15 each, and you can build as many boats as you want from those. There are even some yachts a bit like the one you've drawn here.
