    Hello all

    I am trying to find contrustion drawings or plans of old pacific trawlers. Found very good picture of one or two. Any help would be great.



    Here are a couple of pictures of what I any trying to find.

    Although it is the Pacific region..you may want to try Mystic Seaport...Also there are some good maritime museums on the west coast..

    Try MOHAI in Seattle. They have a fairly sizeable collection of ship and vessel plans. Not well indexed, but they're trying.

    How old?
    If you mean early 1940s, check the Navy records at the National Archives in College Park, MD. The Navy was scarfing up all sorts of fishing boats on both left and right coast at the beginning of the war and converting them to patrol boats. In the rolls of microfilmed plans may be detailed drawings of interest.

    The Navy also photographed these boats extensively, both before and after conversion. The "before" photos are a wonderful historical record of these vessels and how they were fitted out.
