I carefully removed the packaging around the genuine leather strap on the new WBeffer hat, tried it on and because it felt right, decided it should go for a wooden boat ride upon the briny.
This was influenced by the phenomenon written and sung about by those great American bards, Blondie.
Yes, the tide was high, and it did hang on.

An observant individual might notice the fishing rod, but no , I have no good news to relate on that front...no fish were harmed in this expedition.
However, there was one incident of note and in this incident several factors come into play and can only be read as meant to be.
I saw a turtle. Get outa here, I hear you say....Never seen one in NZ in my life before but we became used to seeing them in Tonga and Fiji so we became adept at spotting them.
So, considering The Lemony one called his boat Turtle Bay, I'm taking it as thought transference approval of the new hat and sharing of the vacant property it shields.
And, maybe the new hat will be the wildlife spotter, I'll keep the panel updated.

And in the most amaaaazing coincidence ..... we see turtles near our house quite often ...... and ...... we're just on the edge of Lemon Tree Passage! We see them most frequently at twilight .... in the Twilight Zone.

    I think I'll put a jumper on even though it's about 35 C here ....

And we have a boat called ......... Pipsqueak!

This is sooo much like the time when we found out Paul McCartney was really dead.

The LPBC has been elusive for me. Last night while at dinner, I ask me mate to take my pic. We got lost in conversation and before we knew it we were back at my place.
