    There's a favourite hat thread in the bilge so I'm bumping this. Mine is still alive, did 5 months cruising in Tonga and Fiji last year, went to minerva reef again on the way. Looks pretty crusty now, er ... lived in.

    I miss his antics as well. I tried to contact him a year ago with no luck. He and knotty bouys were pretty good friends. He is also MIA on here and another forum we're both members of.

    I cleaned out the garage this weekend and cane across the box of wood shavings my hat came in, still smells as good as they did fresh. (not so the hat anymore)
    I hope Pete and Nat are well and that the rough times have passed.

    I'm sitting here reading this while wearing my LPBC. I wear mine as a going out hat. It's lunchtime for me! Oh, and I recently found my box of shavings as well.

    The buckle broke on mine and I still haven't replaced it. My Boatsworks hat is now my everyday hat.
