    Default Profanity in Nivea commercial

Advertising has reached a new all time low. In a (relatively) new commercial, Nivea has found it acceptable to use profanity. If you currently use a Nivea product, I would ask that you stop, and if you do not use their products, please refrain from using them in the future. Just to be clear- do I ever use profanity? Of course I do- but I don't broadcast it into the homes of millions of people.

I have not seen the ad. The use of profanity is endemic in our society. I agree, it shouldn't be but it is. As such, I rarely pay attention to it...

What is the nature of the profanity? What is the phrase, if you don't mind.

As a user of Nivea for Men I was curious about this. The only thing I could find was their "look like you give a damn" ad campaign.
Is this what you are referring to?

O Kay. Let's take it in stages. Did the commercial state that Nivea does not condemn the use of profanity, or was profanity actually used in the commercial?

Advertising douches, hemoroidal cremes, penis medicines, and getting teens inoculated for hpv so they can fornicate all they want without consequence is ok, but " damn" has you steaming? I'd say your priorities are a bit askew.

I'm very sorry if you feel the word damn is profanity. Life must be so hard for you. My suggestion? Perspective.
