BB Crowninshield Dark Harbor.
What happened to the poor boat?
Wish I had some extra cash laying around.

Yea, he's posted an addendum to his FleaBay listing explaining that it isn't Herreshoff hardware at all. Maker unknown. Looks like nice stuff, though.
Nice score for someone wanting to build a nice knockabout.

I purchased the bronze hardware. Looks like mostly Merriman products. I needed a few hard to find items like the mast collar and some of the pulleys. there were lots extra pieces I probably don't have a use for. I rarely see such a large number of items in one auctions. Anyway I found some good piece for my boat.

Bummer the boat was destroyed. The Dh17 is one of the most beautiful boats ever designed. That auction was for all the hardware of of a 17. Would have been nice to see a new 17 built around it. Oh well such is life. Alec from Artisan Boatworks is building new D17s for customers, but I am not sure where he is getting his hardware.
