I have a photograph of a boat that belonged to my grandfather and I would like to know who built it. At this point my research has found that it is not a Lyman, Thompson or a Grady White. The photo was taken in 1958 in Urbanna Va. I believe that the boat was purchased a year or two prior to this from a dealer in the vicinity (middle Chesapeake). The photo doesn't show it but the boat was powered by a 50hp outboard. Any input will be greatly appreciated. This is my first attempt at posting a photo so I hope it works! Thanks, David

    You mean this one?

Sorry, I don't know about the boat. Just thought I'd get your picture on so somebody might ID it.

This is the way your link reads: "http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=1423686&a=10657747&p=36481830"
I went to photpoint to find your picture at that link. Then I clicked on the picture to get the following address:
    "http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1423686&a=10657747&p=36481830&Sequence=0&re s=high"
Then I copied that address into my message with IMG &/IMG in square brackets on either end without spaces. Note, the quotation marks are added to keep the links from linking.

I'll try it again. This is (hopefully) a photo of my little runabout (1956 Trojan Sea Queen).

    Thank you for your help.

Which photo raises the question: with pretty little wooden runabouts like yours, what kind of marketing does it take to sell pieces of snot like the one in the background? What an ugly thing! The "designer" should be keelhauled!

(Gawd--I hope that's not your other boat...)
