I have been looking for a boat design in the 20' range. One of the designs that I am interesed in is Nigel Irens Romilly. My question is, has any one built this design in the U.S. If so I would love to see the boat in person before I comit to building.

You know at the price of a cross Atlantic ticket you might be better off going and visiting Mr Irens and seeing the design first hand.

I almost built Romily instead of Eun Mara, but what killed it for me was the carbon fiber mast. I do love the boat though. I wonder how much it would suffer with a spruce mast.

After the artical in WB on Romilly I contacted Nigel Irens. At that time they only wanted to sell finished boats or unfinished hulls. I was told plans would not be sold. Has this changed?
