Nope. I see him as I have. Talented enough to get you to the big games, squirrely enough to lose them for you.

    Another interesting insight from today.

Oregon State is stronger than it's been for years/decades. A fellow I know told me months ago not to be surprised at their performance this year. He's a sportswriter and radio host, and his been talking them up a bit ever since. So today they played #7 USC. I watched most of the game, and they did, indeed, look good. USC has been recruiting blue-chippers for many years, but the Beavers played them darned near even, before losing in the end 17-14.

And Washington State impressed as well against Oregon. And Washington is looking good as well. Some pretty decent feetball being played up in the NW corner of the nation this year.

    And Michigan barely escaped Maryland.

And Miami would have won easily... if the circumstance wouldn't have required Cristobal to do some in-game coaching.

The big upset though was unranked Kansas State taking down #6 Oklahoma.

QB rivalry. They are never on the field at the same time. They are never even close to each other except maybe for a bro hug for the cameras at the end. dse.

That was a good game. I am always ready for a good game, don't need a special preparation , except buying couple of beers maybe.
Sometimes it can be challenging to find a good place to stream upcoming game and here is an article with some top recommendations.
FuboTV and similar are a little overpriced in my opinion .

I saw yesterday where Boise's qb entered the transfer portal. He has been their starter for the last four years, and since he is leaving after the first four games of this season 2022 doesn't count as a year played. Since he hasn't taken his 'Covid' year that the NCAA gave all of these guys a couple of years ago, he will have two full seasons to play wherever he winds up.

He said that he wanted to play somewhere that he can win, and continue to develop himself for an NFL career, so in other words, he just declared himself a free-agent and is now going to wait for the highest bidder. It's an interesting world.

    Their night-game production was unbelievable.

It was a rock concert with a football game being played in the middle of it.

Gordo’s still pretty steamed that the refs didn’t pick up on the fumble out the endzone on the replay near the end of the half.

Again my Ducks march right down the field. And stall. Settled for a FG. They did the same act the first 3 times in a row last week, and barely pulled it out at the end. Hoping not to see the same this week.

so, if oregon hangs on an wins this game, that'll move them above .500 on the year?

Looks like they will. Stanford scored, tried an onsides kick, but Ducks covered. First play, from the 20, a qb draw goes to the house. Duckies 38-10.

Yeah, you could say they're above .500.

Moving to 4/1 against unraked Stanford -- "Nix completed 16 of 29 passes for 161 yards and led Oregon with a career-best 141 yards rushing on six carries. Oregon had 351 yards on the ground compared to Stanford's 127."

Bo's rush totals included one qb draw that went for an 80 yard td. He really does shine against lesser opponents. The track record shows, however, that he wilts in the big games/situations. Everyone in DuckLand is hoping he's 'grown' beyond being BoPix. But I'm not laying any odds. Meanwhile, the team overall seems to be developing and maturing. Dan Lanning might turn out to be a Real Coach. Now... about them penalties...

Nebraska, Arizona State, Colorado, Georgia Tech and Wisconsin have already fired their coaches. I guess the December signing date has something to do with it, but it is getting crazier every year with college coaches getting fired so early.

Has anyone here seen the interview with Coach O talking about getting fired at LSU? For the 17 million dollar payout he asked them which door they wanted him to walk through on his way out. It’s pretty funny, if you aren’t the ones paying a guy that kind of money to sit at home.

Watched highlights from the Chargers game. They won, but Herbert is not back to normal. He passed up several open long throws and went with the mid-range open targets. Moved a bit funny too.
