Apparently not. I'm ready. My take so far is that he's good enough to get you to the good games... and almost certainly goofy enough to lose 'em for you.

Heck of a game with Falcons & Saints. Heisman winning Ducks qb Marcus Mariota looked very good in his effort to revitalize his career (after being badly mishandled by Tennessee).

His O.C with the Titans is now his head coach.

And you have a very weird concept of “looking good.”

It's a team game... and the Falcons are not very good. That shows up in the qb stat-line.

But if you watched the game, you'd agree that MM looked good in his own right.

Chargers looking sharp against the Chiefs tonight. Chiefs won't be any kinda easy out though.

Chiefs are coming on strong, and Herbert throws a pick6. Chiefs lead.

My #25 Ducks vs. #9 BYU today. Should give us a better read on this new version of the Ducks than the first two games.

Seems obvious... but here goes --

    1. They're not going up against the well-oiled juggernaut from week 1 for a game they are highly unlikely to win. What we learned is that Oregon is not currently up to the same tier as Georgia. But that was pretty much a given.

    2. They're not going up against a lower-tier FBS team in a game they are highly unlikely to lose. We learned that they're not down to the same tier as E. Washington. Also pretty much a given.

    3. They ARE going up against a BYU team that is currently ranked higher, and that has gone 5-0 against the Pac12 recently. THAT is more of a test. Which, 24-7 at the half, they seem to be passing so far.

A lot of teams play FCS schools during the season. Alabama is smart about how they use scheduling.

    Wrong.

That one doesn't fit the 'we'll get beat up for pay' model. It fits the 'if you want to become top-tier, you gotta play top tier'. You may get creamed a few times, but it's a learning experience... not just a payday. After the subsequent two games, I'm gonna say Oregon came outta the Georgia game more galvanized than resigned.

I have never seen a team start taking a knee with two and a half minutes left, but that’s what Bama just did. I understand the whole country’s feelings about Alabama’s success, but if you understand this stuff there is no one better than Nick Saban.

Looks like MSU made a game out of it in the 4th quarter, but too little, too late.

I posted this as a new thread but I’m posting it here too incase I’d get help quicker here.

I have NFL+ subscription but need HELP!

For some reason I just see a black screen without a sound as I’m trying to watch Steelers game right now. Why can’t I see the game?

How to upgrade my subscription and to what subscription to upgrade to?

What is “Red Zone Mobile”? Is it only for Sunday games? I’d like to watch Monday, Thursday and Sunday games.

We have no TV so I usually watch on my phone or tablet.

    What a weird game indeed.

Oregon won, after trailing the whole time well into the 4th quarter, while making WSU look good. The speed and the scheme of Wazzu left the Ducks spinning, stumbling, and scratching their heads. Bo Nix moved his team quite well... but only between the 20's. First half showed them with a ton of yards... and 3 field goals to show for it. Oh, and one of Nix's patented pick6's to make the WSU lead seem huge.

Then Nix lit it up in the 4th quarter, the defense stouted up, one of the Ducks linebackers, Mase Funa, came up with a pick6 of his own. The Duckies went from 12 down to 10 up in that qtr., then allowed a garbage time td to win by 3 in the end.

A real roller-coaster. A good result, but not an impressive game until the latter part of the 4th quarter. They'll probably fall in the polls. Have to admit - WSU's transfer qb, Cameron Ward, looked really good. Johnny Manziel sorta good.
