Default Your favorite photo of a boat under oar?

This is a response to the "fave boat under sail" thread, as I realized that there are a lot of nice pics of pulling boats out there, some owned or built by WB Forumites.

    Here's a few of mine:

By John Kohnen at the Timothy Lake Messabout 2009 -

Same great phototgrapher, as Big Lagoon Messabout 2008, Tony and John rowing, me steering Dusty's glass Jersey Skiff -

Launch day, with more wind than I bargained for (note the halyard draped over my left shoulder)

Here's some taken just this morning as we principle shipwrights of Island Star started shaking down our crew for the Builder's Challenge match race against our dastardly rival Salish Star in Port Townsend in September. Heave, me hearties! Heave away!

    Amphibious Macroplankton Oughtredia doublendus
Mostly found frequenting the littoral and estuarine zones in the southern half of the Salish Sea, though sightings have been recorded both north and south of this area, and occasionally, but rarely, inland, in freshwater environments. This species lives on micro-brewed beer and dutch-oven biscuits, and displays brightly colored nylon and gore-tex plumage during the rainy season. Approach with caution!

Hey, I'm used to a far better system - particularly for steering from the sternsheets, so I do the best I can with that strange tiller-thingie...

James M - I like that middle photo of the oarstroke.

Here's two more by John K from Big Lagoon 08, I'm rowing Tony and John out to the Tasher to pull her off the dual anchors we'd put out -

Thanks for participating on this thread in such a productive manner, Cap'nRod. I'm sure you avoided posting a picture of your 8' fiberglass pram with those 2x4 oars just to avoid showing us up and hurting anybody's feelings.

Well, no doubt your knowledge of oars and rowing is as vasty and comprehensive as your mastery of all other aspects of shipwrightery, so I bow before your excellent taste and judgement. Carry on, Cap'n, carry on.

Yes, you know every bit as much about Fidalgo Bay in August as you do about all the rest, Roddie-pie. We are all in street clothes 'cause we just took an hour off in the middle of the day when the gig was available before going back to work. By the way, that older dude sitting in the "bow" is actually sitting towards the stern. . .but you already knew about which way people face when sitting in rowboats, didn't you? Donn Wilson there is 80 years old and rows several times a week. PFD's are stowed underneath each thwart and would be donned if deemed necessary for the conditions.

Now quit being so disagreeable and either post a picture of your favorite photo of a boat under oars or shut the hell up!

Okay, let's try to get this poor hijacked thread back on course!
