Default 28' LOA Harbor Cutter- first lines

    Hello all,

Last night I whipped up some pencil drafting after falling in love with the lines of a schooner presented in an old "American Sail" book I have had lying neglected in my library for too long and several 17-20 LOD cutters I've seen plans for.

As daft as it is, I am never happy with creations of another's design; a family trait I inherited where we have to find a way to make something unique I guess. So I whipped up a rough draft of this pseudo-mini-schooner lines and stations.

The basic dimensions are listed; I may scale it up ever so slightly. It looks like I won't be starting an actual project right now;when I do it will be a small dingy, so I'll plan to finish all the new stations (had to cut short my design work tonight) tomorrow and then probably after my next business trip start drafting it up in CAD to make sure it looks right in 3D.

Brutally honest opinions are more than welcome; Pointers even more so!

I also have it all on a super sized PDF if anyone wants it emailed for any reason.

Straighten out that middle buttock aft to lengthen the run. The lowest waterline is also too full in its ends, you have also almost created parallel mid body, which is not appropriate for a pleasure boat.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.
