    Default Looking for Lakemba

I am looking for the Lakemba. The boat was owned by Harry Pidgeon. The last information I have is that a woman in La Paz bought the boat and was going to sail to South America. You can email me at: ron_lulu@yahoo.com with any info. Thanks.

Lakemba is a suburb of Sydney, Australia. Is there any connection? I don't know if this word has any meaning or if there are other places called Lakemba. Rick

Probably named after the island in the Fiji group. Proper spelling is 'Lakeba'; the 'b' in Fijian is pronounced 'mb'. Outside Fiji the word is usually spelled 'Lakemba' as pronounced, or occasionally mis-pronounced as 'Lakeeba'.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to look for the Lakemba in South America? I don't speak Spanish, so it would have to be in English. I would appreciate any ideas.
