    Default C-Flex, not wood but...

Does anyone have any experience with C-Flex?

I found this site and it "seems" link an interesting way to build a one off design.

My boat was done in C-Flex in 1994. You can do a search on Oh Joy on this forum and get info on her.

I was one of the very first C-flex dealers and builders using that material.....I built two boats, one 26 feet and another 31......if you want a fiberglass boat it's one way to go....I would prefer to use airex cored material if I were to build another glass boat....but......wood is so much nicer.

It's a good way to prolong the life of or save a wooden hull as far as I'm concerned. I've had good luck with it. I've had to figure out innovative ways to repair structural issues but that's ok too. The hull is still stiff, solid and dry.
