Bolger's Redwing

Anyone have any links to resources on this boat? I think she's gorgeous but can't find too much info, outside of calling Bolger up.

Here I is. Yes, I have Redwing. She came out of the water today and I'm putting her to bed for the winter tomorrow. What would you like to know? Phil is still selling the plans. As you can see in the previous post, I posted pictures of her. She's 22 years old and holding up well. Just let me know how I can assist.

Purty. Purty boat. The linked thread answers a lot of my questions but here are a few more:

How would you rate this on ease of construction?

Is she dry? (my wife hates getting wet while out boating - don't ask)

What is her approximate draft?

She's strip plank construction. The "wineglass" transom and the clipper bow makes for a little more difficulty in construction. The bilge keels require attention to detail. The rest of the boat is pretty straight forward, mahogany, plywood and fir.
The weather side can get spray, but who wants to be on the weather side anyways. The cabin is cozy and dry. The cockpit is self bailing. There are some compromises in every design. She's designed to ground out and sail in shallow water, which is exactly the way I use her. She only draws 18". There isn't any atnding head room, but you can stand in the cabin and look out the sliding hatch. There is a possibility that she'll be on the market in a year or two. I'm considering a change.

Thanks for the infomation. I'm finishing up a Light Scooner and a Stevenson's PC (as a motor launch) but am looking at something more along the lines of the Redwing and she is a beauty. You should be very proud from what I've seen.

1-2 years about the time I would need to build... hmmm... wait or take a chance...
One last question - Where is she being wintered and are you a light sleeper?
