Default Motor Boat /The Green Sheet 1910/Whistler

I am looking for the original design of the Hampton Launch, Whistler, in the October 10, 1921 issue of "Motor Boat" which I am told was also known as The Old Green Sheet. It was in an article by William H. Foster about his original design for this launch. Does anyone know where or how I could obtain a copy of this article in Motor Boat?

My son and I are half finished building the launch from the design as published in Weston Farmer's "From My Old Boat Shop", but I would really like to obtain the original publication of these plans for Whistler.

    Thanks

    Chuck Shaw

Just a suggestion: maybe if you have a bit more info, check and confirm the exact title of the publication you want, and describe it, i.e., is it a magazine, or something else, weekly, monthly, country of origin, etc.

E.g., is it "Motorboat Magazine," Motor Boat Magazine Books," "Motor Boat Monthly," "Motor Boat and Yachting," or something else?

Thanks for your comments Dave. Weston Farmer's "From My Old Boat Shop" says Bill Foster's launch, Whistler, was first published in the October 10, 1921 issue of "Motor Boat" - the Old Green Sheet. I think the publication is no longer published or merged with another magazine about the time of WWII.

Maybe these guys could copy the article for you:

Looks like the magazine is in their collection.

KodakGallery thwarted my attempt to fix the links, so I uploaded copies. I hope that's OK, CfShaw. If you ask, I'll take them down.

It's a very pretty boat! I'd like to see more as the build progresses.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
