GPS map for S. Vietnam?

I just bought a wooder boat here and do not have a gps. afraid of getting lost. anyone have info. on how I can get a gps and maps?

OK, I've downloaded the program... but where are the Vietnam charts. The only one I could find on that Russian site was Thailand... which I didn't download.

The CM93 ed2 May 2009 are available here:
http://cnf.by.ru/maxsea.html
Click on "links" and you'll see the 10 files to download, unzip, and group in a folder you can open with Opencpn (select the file in "tools/ Charts").
1 hour between each of he 10 files for free download. But it worths it, you'll have the whole world

nice to see you here too (after we met in HCM).

Did you test the OpenCPM for your needs? Its useful in the area you operate?

One question again I forgot: Do you need any license or permit for operating/driving a boat in the Mekong?
