# of Gal. in 1 Cu/Ft.

Need a ratio of gallons to a cubic ft. Lead is 740 lbs to a Cubic foot. See where I'm going.

Exactly. I have that written on my whiteboard, and then I have to convert that to cubic metres.

Cast lead weighs 708.5 lbs per cubic foot, not 748.

there are 231 cu inches in a gallon, to find the volume of a tank
mult length x width x height divide by 231 and viola.. gallons.
of course saddle tanks that match the curve of a hull are trickier
due to the arc.

Naw...youse make them, fill them up, siphon if out then pour it into all the old mayo jars that you saved, then you will know.
