Has anyone seen the commercial that is advertising SOCOR (or something like that) where the guy talking had a medical problem that this drug is helping? But whats neat about the commercial he is also talking about finding this old boat and is fixing her up? The boats a beauty.....anyone know what it is? The commercial shows a boat in an old boat barn and some working shots and then ends with he and his wife sailing along?

Close to a Friendship Sloop?

The ad was made in Boothbay Harbor, Maine a while ago and the boat they are sailing is a Friendship sloop. In one sailing scene the Cuckolds lighthouse off Cape Newagen at the tip of Southport Island is visible in the background. The interior 'rebuilding' scenes show a wooden boat similar to a Friendship, but not the one sailing.
