    Todd, my mast is 157 inches by a little over 2 inches square, if I make the yard at 130 inches by 2 inches square, wouldn't that be too heavy for the mast.

    Ok, so heres the plan. Remove all of the really punky wood, soak with Get Rot epoxy. Fill with thickened epoxy, then glue another 2 inches of oak on top of the old piece and cover with cloth epoxy.
