    Found a soft section of rub rail. Laminating a new piece in place with tape under the first of 3 laminations. It’ll get removed when cured for rough shaping.

    OK, the torch and scraper method is FAR superior to sanding. I got about 1/2 the peers side done in maybe 90 minutes this afternoon. No dust, and the scrapings are an easy cleanup.
