    Shop lighting makes it too easy to be critical of oneself. I used the roll and tip method on my Phoenix III and was a bit dissatisfied until I got her out in the high summer sun. It really levels out...

    I've done a half-dozen practice capsizes with my Phoenix III. My first was a mess because the seals on my homemade bulkhead hatches were inadequate. Once that was sorted, recovery was pretty simple....
