Have you seen the Super Cub?
Who said that?! :D
It’s nice for me to have the progress marked, so I don’t get depressed about making no headway. Haha.
Also, NGL, it’s sort of a proof that these are actually drawings, and...

Speaking of progress… this layer is done! Maybe one more layer and the whole shebang can be called a drawing. Maybe two?

Meanwhile, part two of the box triptych. Because; PROGRESS!
I sit on the bottom of my duck punt and my pink skiff when I row them. With a proper spot to brace my feet, which I have, both boats just fine. And, I have a notoriously wonky back, so I can’t do bad...

Oh, this guy’s cool, alright. Big dummy, is what he is.
116722
Nobody out dummies the Queen Dummy. One of the finest judges of character I’ve ever met. Sincerely. There are people she...

And BSE…
Why should he act otherwise?
Highly paid athletes are the top of the pyramid in this sick society, so why shouldn’t they have the trappings? Why not blow the filthy lucre on toys? That’s how you...
The best time with the dogs is in the morning, when they get a “special treat”. The mastiff is as stubborn as any animal ever born, but also as obedient and mindful as any animal I’ve known; she...
Big Face.
Oh, you’d get the biggest kick out of this dog. The twinkle in her eye is enough to melt your heart. And, she has no idea she’s not really a dog.
Her dog heart weighs about 7,000 pounds.
We have a 17 pound cat. Hahaha. When they fight, he will sometimes lunge at her and literally pin her down with his cat hands. Like a big brother or something. Hilarious.
He also does this...
You think you can turn left better than me?! You would love the way she spits dirt out when she turns, too; four tiny rooster tails railing through every corner. It’s hilarious.
There are several...
So, you hired a CIAO before you left to watch things? Sweet.

The only one who’ll watch the sun rise with me when it’s hot.
Is it going to be all blurry, too?
We boggle often at the size of this animal. She is smart as a whip, although a bit stubborn and hyper. When she gets anxious she runs in circles, almost always turning left.
Her problem solving...

Because I know these step-by-steps are just scintillating. Be warned, though.
116696
I’m not just out here on my own. The alarm is set.
116697
Ain’t nobody sneaking up on us! The...
Mutant! :D My kids loved Waterworld when they were younger. I think that’s definitely more “Road Warrior” aesthetic. That movie certainly made a mark on the world, as far as post apocalyptica is...
Hopefully, someone will get photos or videos of the bloom that will hit Death Valley. I’ve seen it once, maybe a decade or so ago. When it rains in Death Valley, everything blooms.
It looks like a...
True confession: that movie is one responsible for making me want to be a production/set designer, no doubt. Time Bandits is another.
I am still waiting for somebody with a fat wallet to...

This was inside the box. Maybe it’s a sign?

This crap again. I don’t really know where to put these so people can see them. This is another 10 Minute Doodle done from a snapshot I took at the WBS at Mystic. One of the streets, and some...
Your first filming gig?
Well, if the hills stayed green here all year, it wouldn’t be the Golden State, so there is that. :)
Always take landscapes. Or, I think (which is dangerous) you can “alter” them in editing and they will be upright. I don’t have any problem with the screenshots I take of my art to post, either.

So… this water… it simply falls from the sky?
I am intrigued by this concept.
Yeah. If only we could all sit and scribble. :)
116458
I’m so close, now. I really love and hate this photo realism jag. I definitely enjoy the quick 10 Minute Doodles, but I think I may settle on a happy medium.
Hehehe.
If you have an old DVD player, they make excellent CD players; it’s what we use.
Which, Quad was just playing record albums for us the other day, and then switched to CDs. My kids are crazy about...
What size hooks do you use to catch flies?!

Progress!
It’s funny because I often get comments on this or that tee shirt, or some pants or shorts. I have literally bought no clothes for myself in decades.
Since my last shoe sponsorship lapsed, I haven’t...
95-99% of my wardrobe comes from thrift stores. I’d bet you can find some swank cargo pants/shorts in a thrift store.
Well… I mean, do you know any cosplayers? I think some of them do believe. :)
It’s not worth the bother, and I tried to bow out.
I don’t need to try and relate to people who obviously feel I’m beneath them.
Being as I’m poor, and all.
Stop for tri tip in Santa Maria. Also, near Lompoc is an ostrich farm that’s hilarious fun.

Today’s update.

Both layers to date.
No way! I have raced Copperopolis; a few times. I raced it on a Cannondale CAAD 10 frame set and Ultegra build. I think I had some swank carbon wheels the last time, because I remember that whizz...
Thanks, Yo. The Doodles really evolved some time back when I was BROTM, and needed filler. They’ve grown beyond themselves, since. :)
This one even contains one of the old school parenthetically...
I spent Saturday hanging out with a 15 year old that had a broken femur and lost part of his right thumb from a motorbike crash. It ain’t the getting hurt that bothers me.
All the places I used to...
Crap! I did not.
I was with a small gang of young people, including a few biologicals. :) It is pretty funny how the youngsters react to an “old dude” when they first arrive. 10 minutes in and the...
Affirmative. It’s in wonderful shape, but just ain’t getting use. I’ve got it all apart to detail the bejebus out of it and check all the bits. It’s a joy to work on, actually. Fun bike.
116188
The top layer.
116189
The both layers.
Make sure she traps both goofer tunnels. When you find a goofer hole, there are two tunnels leading away. Trap both, and it’s about 95%.
We also stuff the corpses back down the holes when we can.

Mine’s for sale.
I did ride about 14 miles on the push bike today, though. I did a 1/2 mile wheelie at one point, which is easy to figure with 1/4 mile long blocks. :)
Ugh. Not to get all whimsical, but I competed on a 20” Monty modified trials bike “back in the day”. I had roller cam brakes, but I wanted some Magura “rim crushers” badly.
We used to hit our rims...

Lots and lots of detail to add everywhere before paint. Because I have to paint it, now.
Ha! Very much the vibe, to be sure. The vision is a more utopian version of something similar, to be sure. Some manner of haphazardly assembled homes, interconnected, and interdependent.
The model...
He really was pulling a silly pose, too, and I think I captured the awkward stiffness. Hahaha.
We all have fond memories of that visit; especially me, because it got me out of Easter. I don’t mind...
