  1. Re: Do you think Trump will pay off on the $1 million to charity he pledged?

He's already denying he ever made the promise.
  2. Re: Another 'hoax' aiming at Florida's panhandle

We've had four cat 4 storms in a uniquely short period of time. Climate Change doesn't tell us we're apt to get more hurricanes, but that the hurricanes we get are apt to be more powerful.

    I...
  3. Re: Another 'hoax' aiming at Florida's panhandle

I don't think it's all that simple. Food, transportation, and such were likely major factors in building where people built. WATER was a large part of both.

    Re: Credit card interest rates:

There was a time when the interest on the credit card was tax deductible. Reagan stopped that.

Voting after a storm like Michael?

I'd like to see how things are done so the people who lost their homes don't lose their vote, and if efforts to provide them a way to vote are on the up and up
  10. Re: Another 'hoax' aiming at Florida's panhandle

I don't know about all of that. I'm 73, and, near as I can tell, a LOT of places were quite built up along the shore and in places where storms are a problem. Or where rising sea level is a problem....

His points were not entirely without merit.
