    Ha! I grew up with my dad's Meccano sets (one in a wood box) - both of which were made in England - in the 20's.

    Many friends had Erector sets & all agreed that the Meccano parts were better made...

    One I just watched do this was a graduate of OSU. Another was from a 2nd tier Vermont college. Dunno where another one I can think of who reacted this way went to college - but I doubt she was Ivy...

    I have to agree with this. I've watched HR people sneer at community college info on resumes. Seeing an Ivy or another big name, they sit up & take notice.

    Most all sensors on engines I've seen ground through the block. How to you ground them without grounding the engine?

    I feel like I'm really missing something here.

    Wow - that sounds like a ton of work. I built a kit car years ago that had to have 2 wires run to everything (fiberglass body). The term PITA leaps to mind...

    Could be. A friend wrapped his XK 150 around a 3' maple. Worst part was that I was in it when he did so. There are a couple of hooks forward of the trunk on the body that the convertible top fits...

    Western MA is way slower in pace, with the exception of Springfield up into Holyoke. Of course if you head south from Springfield, you get to Hartford, CT & then start having to deal with CT drivers...

    Yup - you can. But repairing & maintaining a boat is far more expensive than the purchase unless the boat is brand new. I can speak to this from experience :)
