I have not seen either plans so I can't comment on how detailed they are.

I'm nowhere near the K compound :D
No tower - I believe the town regs say the tower needs to fall on your land if it falls over. That kills towers for about 98% of the properties.
Any recommendations on a wind meter I can collect data from so I can do some analysis to see if any of the small sized wind turbines would be feasible at my house.

John Cleese is alive and still working.
Call the dealer and ask them to come pick it up.
Either they will be able to provide this service or one of the mechanics could earn a few bucks picking it up after hours.

Anyone have something like this that they can recommend ?
Looks good and thanks for the update.
Maybe with more posts of actual work being done (regardless of the medium) the political nasty posts will sink quicker.
I'm cautiously optimistic...
It looks like the vertical wall portion is ok.
The angled cap is awful and needs to come off.
Is there flashing of some sort between the end of brick and that window frame ?
htom - that's the freezing I thought you were referring to. When the water gets icy - go skiing.

Fine looking boat you have there.
Do us a favor though and take the price tags off those oars.

Initial cost: about $800
Annual cost: $52
If not already taken for either of these would be awesome.
