If you do elect to lay dynel (and not completely fill the weave), then yes fair the deck first, and then roll a coat of unthickened epoxy over the whole deck (and let cure completely, then scuff)...
Emissions-defeat chips for bubba trucks is a $10M business??? dayum.
I swear I've seen ten articles over the past month about dems switching voter registration in order to steer the GOP primaries to un-electable nutjobs. I would think that some of those articles...
I favor option 3, but don't bother with the "fill the cloth just enough to leave the weave as antiskid". Been there, done that (with dynel), and it's a fool's errand IMHO.
Don't bother fairing...
This dude is my kinda billionaire.
Didn't the seaport just put a whole lot of resources into rebuilding(replacing?) her boiler not that long ago? or am I confusing her with some other coal-fired riverboat?
That might be the perfect powerboat. I love Grayling dearly, but she's at least 12' too big for my purposes.
I tried this setup last night, without the pan under the stone. I learned why the pan is under the stone. :D
Very nice, though. A lot more heat than the kitchen oven!
(I bid 3)
I've never seen that kind of swing-back seat used as anything but second-row in a center console boat, but man that setup makes all the sense in the world!
My former state-house rep (now running for Blumenthal's senate seat) was VERY QUICK to tweet-remind everyone that she happens to be pro-choice and urge us to "focus on the things that CAN change,...
Kinda like Raffensberger saying that (if the choices are trump or biden) he'd vote trump despite knowing all the treasonous things he knows about trump, yeah I may actually vote Biden if the...

Same here. long torso, shorter legs. More of a sprinter than a marathoner ;)
Can touch toes easily, give me few tries and I can go palms-on-floor.
I have yet to find my max deadlift.
Back to the photo in the OP for a sec.... let's all take a minute to appreciate how nicely she's using her overhangs. Olin got that one right.
For those driving in from points west and south, I heartily recommend a stop at the Madison Wine Exchange. Exit 59, take US1 north for a mile or two (it's not really out of the way, you're still...
The Boy (i need to call him something else now, I suppose) and his girl were in town a few weekends ago, I told them to look in the cabinet and open a bottle or two for dinner. She had to show...
Twisty asphalt in the AZ sun should melt those POS oem tires right off and get you into some good rubber sooner :D
It's great for the photo, but I wonder if that mizzen spin is actually doing much for the boat apart from keeping crew entertained. If there's enough breeze to keep it full when it's fouled on...

Woke up this morning with this song in my head. Littlegirl caught me singing to myself while making breakfast. She's approaching the age of the killer eye-roll, but her technique still needs...
The downside of #18 is that it has trouble making a pie larger than about 13", whereas #19 can make what one might call a Real Pizza.
#19 can probably do two at a time?
one of the local community farms was struggling during the lockdown (their usual curriculum of afterschool kids' programs on hold) so they had the idea to do "goat hikes" as a fundraiser. Taking a...

No pardons = If I go down I'm taking you all with me.
"He must recuse" implies that there is some adverse consequence should he not. Short of impeachment, what possible consequence could there be that might persuade him to recuse?

Pizza wants a very hot oven, but not for very long. Woodfired masonry wastes a lot of time IMHO, you need a 2-3 hours to build the heat that you'll only use for about 20 minutes.
The gas-fired...

I was expecting this thread to be about the 30th anniversary of Jagged Little Pill
The "made entirely of materials that can be melted-down and reused" is the real advancement there.
All he needed to be was the guy who could beat trump. Having achieved that, we've no further use for him. Moving on.
It seemed curious to me that a white supremacist group would go to such lengths to attack a Pride event. (I mean, apart from the far-right simply being anti-left)

I've enjoyed sailing the Wave at various vacation spots over the last decade or so. I had a H16 for a few years, I think the Wave is the better boat.
Maybe it's the light or maybe it's the paint but you can just see the tension in those topsides, like it's SOF construction or something!
