    Tom , the percentage of epoxy in the six ounce glass is substantially lower that the percentage in the ten ounce glass. has the percentage of epoxy been closely controlled in the other samples?

    Ten ounce fiberglass is per square yard. Per square foot it is .069 pounds. I would expect any fabric that was 5.2 times heavier, with the added epoxy would take 6.6 times as long to wear through....

    I think the best you can do is use the best primer and top coat paint you can find. I have had good results with McCormack Interlok direct to metal urethane one part enamel.
