    Re: 16-18' catboats

That's a nice looking boat. I especially like the baked-in electric pod, which is a very slick touch.

Thank you! I thought I had read all of the various small catboat threads. Tidbit is...

    Re: 16-18' catboats

That's a great looking boat you have there, Mike. I don't love the original Bobcat, but yours is a great improvement on it.

    16-18' catboats

    Hello all!

I'm looking for plans for a particular style of catboat.

16-18' (bit of a range, yes)
    Trailerable (beam under 8'6")
Large, comfortable cockpit with room to stretch out

    Cork decking

Does anyone have any experience with marine cork decking? What are your thoughts? I’m not installing a deck or anything, I just stumbled across the concept today. I’m intrigued!

    For example:...

I can't help with your beech question, but I was at Liberty Hardwoods (19th & Center - what is that neighborhood, South O? Southeast O?) the other day and asked about WRC. They had some lower...

    Re: COLREGs vessel length definition

To piggyback Boats here, larger vessels are often less maneuverable and definitely take longer to stop - measured in miles for some of the really big boys out there. Being able to pick them on radar...

    Re: Printing plans

You can always run off a page on A1 and check the scale to see if it's correct. Regular 20# paper should only cost a few bucks.
