That is fabulous. I like it a lot.

The curb and channel* has just been done on our side of the street, they have put three driveways in the wrong (not the original) place. The randomness of start dates, the vagueness about project...
We can build earthquake resilient buildings.........very slowly........one of, so far.
Rebuild targets a complete failure, also known as "At this rate, if the last engine fails, we'll be up here...
Ian, there's a reasonably active Japanese Hand Tools section on the WWF. You might try asking there as well.
What's the bilge coming to, Bobby? I've had to answer my own question.

Speaking of road closures, how's your driveway going, Paul?
:D
Just a question for the Washingtonians, would there have been an escort with a OD load like that?
Meh, mudguards aren't big enough.
:)
Outrageously cool......but how does the front brake work? I can see a cable but no pads.
Nice outfit, Ian. I like that bike a lot.
I was in a road accident once upon a time......I heard the sound of a collision and started to look around for who was involved, not even suspecting that one of the vehicles was the truck I was...
You have classified your own PM as needless rancor......one of the greatest own-goals I've seen on this forum.
Now build a bridge and get over it.
:D
It's fundamentally Christian, why would they?
;)
Jokes aside, the Pope said even Atheists are redeemed by Christ. That's jaw-dropping........
Beer is good, but some beers are better than others.
;)
We have a healthy 'craft-brewing' beer industry in NZ and some of the beers they make are a little enthusiastic. Had one handed to me at a...
Beer? Sounds good. Cooked my sweetie a dish she calls "You know, that really rich bolognese sauce with all of the mushrooms that you do? Yum, I want that!", who could resist?
:)
James McMullen, tried is past tense. I have stopped trying to educate you*. Sending people whiny PMs is poor form, maybe you should stop that?
* It'll just be abuse from now on, you...
You missed it then? Oh well, nevermind, I tried.
:)
Try predominant political mindset.
No, not partisan enough?
Valuable teaching moment, eh?
:)
Glad neither of you two were hurt.
Sounds like a truck hit the bridge.

Gin! A large one thanks. I just had an encounter with government bureaucrats.......The job must drain all compassion out of them.......
I think I need a cheery song too.

Some of them would also show up naked to the casino shouting "I'm a spy! I'm a spy! Shhh, it's a big secret!"

Hope people are Ok. That is one weird looking failure.
Chapter 13, moral bankruptcy.
We don't all have to have a beard...........
There are scandals that make people nod knowingly and then there are scandals that make people nod off............
Yeah, kinda, sorta, maybe.
:D
Got any coffee left?
I like modern brakes. Stood so hard on the brake pedal last night the ABS pulse made my knee ache later......missed but it was close.
The word is good-to-see-you-wanna-beer?
Real brakes or the original brakes?
Everything bugs me. Everything.
:D
Excellent work.

Hope that links to my favourite pic, pouring on the champagne at launch. No hard impacts for that boat.
:)
I'm shocked, I don't know how anybody could ever think that.

What a trainwreck. That's the only opinion I can safely give.........
Can't see you there Skip, cause I don't know how anybody gets to...
No one ever thought that.
We don't think you're gay either.
Just in case you were concerned.

Awww, thanks Skipper.

Is that the bug that's been up your ass for the last month?

Firefox usually copes with pop-ups no problems. This was a "won't go away even when you completely shut the program and comes back again when you re-open the program thingy", it was like the 1990s...
Damn. Good that you and the hospital were "on to it". Take it easy now.
Closing schools was always going to happen......so is opening new schools and expanding existing schools. There has been a huge shift to North and South of Chch, not a very rapid response to the...
Thanks Kaa, I haven't had a look around The Stranger for ages. I used to be fun, now it has "Work from home" pop-ups that discombobulate Firefox.

One article (opinion piece) wondering why there is a lack of plans for residential buildings in the CBD of Chch....
Here you go, have a pint of Scrumpy. Sip it slowly.

I think the four schools are in Aranui and they are to be consolidated. Aranui was hit hard by the quakes and the school zones would have lost families as people moved out to better accommodation....
Some kid keeps coming in and shouting "GIF!" and then running straight back out again.
I bet you got half way down the street and thought, "Did I leave the curtains on?".
Yep, it's almost as if they wanted furor in Christchurch when they shut down schools as they did. The recent comments from Key about Wellington were another classic of the "Look! Over there!" school...

Nobody is expected to understand Kiwi politics.
Stick around Bobby, don't let 'em get you down. Opinions often override empathy, they'll come around, or not, they're their own problem.
Just for 'perspective', the Prime Minister of NZ (Chief...
Mornin' Bobby, kinda weird out there today, very foggy, same as in some peoples heads.
:D
I'll have a coffee and a cinnamon roll thanks.
Any thread started by someone called Norman to score political points after a major disaster.
Sure, I was going to pour you one too.

Remember to turn of the news when it gets a bit too much.
