    Nice looking vessel..looks as the owner modified the Pathfinder by hanging the OB off the stern (as opposed to interior well per plans) or is that a Navigator fitted with a cabin?

    Also depends I suppose if you are a gunkholer, and usually able to dip in somewhere to land and unstrike a rig, or more prone to open water where you expect to be reef, strike rigs and the like...

    Perhaps it's anathema to WB crowd but a discarded carbon fibre spar (from a windsurf shop in my case) has been phenom.
    I just lash wood and leather to it as needed for the rig it's designated for....

    I think that the limitations of the sailing canoe are more imagined than real.

    -to be limber
    -to have a sense of adventure

    Adirondacks I agree are stellar.

    If not a Champlain Messabout, could always be Memphremagog or Seymour, which is the largest contained entirely within VT.
    Winds more predictable than Willoughby, which is admittedly more beautiful....
