3d boat design, I have already built the boat and thought it would be nice to have a set of plans, the boat was built from memory and pictures, so there are no plans as such

Need a little help in laying out a simple boat with 3d boat design does anyone know of a website, video or blog that might, my boat is a flat bottom straight sided river boat...thanks

Finally finished the Ogeechee River Boat, not sure were the original design came from or which builder, but it is a pleasure to paddle, fast and turns on a dime....time to put the tools up and go...

I looked at the links, pretty interesting little motor, seems like John Deere built a tractor years ago that had the hit and miss engine....would make engine for a small lauch

Interesting, wish I could see how he did his drive line......might be a idea to build a scaled down version of rescue minor with a off 5-10 hp electric start gas lawn tractor/lawn motor...

great link, I know what you mean about the lawn mower engines, I often look at them and try to figure out how to use them in a boat...sure would make for a cheap power source.

The boats in the picture are similar to the Racer Evans boats, with the exception of the rear, the boat he orginally built were only 9.5" wide at the transom and tappered to 7". the later boats were...

I enjoy it, I have change his design a little and added a few feature that I have seen on other boats, the Wood Boat Magazine is a great source for ideas when it comes to boat building

I will look for the book ,it sounds interesting...this one is for my dad that just turned 70, his dad use to take him fishing in one when he was kid, grandad would paddle him up and down the Ogeechee...
