    The point being that when the T-head engines were being built, the idea of an advantage from cross-flow and the terminology had yet to be invented.

    ETA: not many people know that Bugatti designed...

    The T-head side valve engine has a much less efficient combustion chamber than one with both valves on the same side.
    So no power advantage with its supposed cross flow.

    Not what I would call a cross-flow, it's a side valve T-head in my book.
    Surely you need overhead valves for what is termed a cross-flow engine?

    About there- the eagle-eyed will note that the elevator pushrod is not yet fitted.
    I am undecided about a windscreen- I think it should have a small one mounted forward on the guns.
