    It’s not a high rust area. No salt. Just heat and precious little rain. I think it’s just the steel they used for the pull chain. Other stuff I leave outside barely rusts over years. And thanks!

    If you put a 5’ steel strap on the jamb under the sheetrock, along with a steel door, it may slow them down. A steel jamb helps as well. Depends on whether you want to keep them out or slow them...

    Pretty good kit. Off-grid minimizes interaction with authorities having jurisdiction. Needs about $8,000 in LiFePO4 server rack batteries (about 20,000 watts). Get cheap or used solar panels.

    The dryer vent split. Itís a stacked unit. Real cramped space and a royal pain to move.

    Easiest solution would be to drop a kid back there and have them fix it. Up and over. About 9 years...
