    The prop is just in front of the transom mounted rudder. Not sure what you mean by a propellor orifice. Do you mean a tunnel like the Rescue Minor?

    Having steam bent locust ribs into my Coquina I would say that if you can get long enough clear pieces it would make a nice deck. It weathers nicely and wears like iron.
