    A toerail would be shorter than a bulwark, your drawing of a bulwark looked quite high. Shorter might Be simpler. A single piece of timber, or 2 lams instead of several. Less screws.

    That's a bit more than I spend Ted, and mines a 1974 50 foot wooden boat. My slip is about $2500 a year, insurance $1500. A haul out and bottom paint and whatever it's convenient to do at that time...

    I used to have a Miata, NB, and still have 2 Boxsters and a Z-3. Maybe the early Miata had less room? The Porsche and the Beemer are really not much good for a driver over 6 feet. The Mazda was fine....

    The market would suggest it's the Miata, by a country mile. People bought them in huge numbers. And they actually fit tall people better than a Porsche Boxster or a BMW Z-3, and probably many others....
