    Re: proactive keel bolt replacement

Take a sander or something to that bolt. If the metal is shiny and hard under surface rust you are likely okay. But it looks pretty bad to me. What is the ballast weight? A light casting with lots of...

    Yes, it certainly would.

I miss the days of the blog. How many times have you googled something obscure and the answer was in a well written blog from 10 years ago? They have basically all died....

    Re: War environmental damage: lead

Lead is relatively inert, as long as children aren't eating the fragments there is very low risk. Plants do not take up lead so not a big problem on farm land either. In fact part of why lead...

That is such a good photo. The whole last drone sequence was exquisite. Lots of pro help involved now, it won't be long.

Yikes. You know how human traffickers take passports to keep people hostage? A corporate version of the same calculation.... So many probably want to quit but can't upend their lives for it.

Re: Chartering a Sailboat in Greece

In Europe they are pretty strict about having some kind of certification. The ASA bareboat course is sufficient but you'll need to plan ahead a bit to get it in time.

I'd say shooting a deer with a rifle is more ethical than whatever happens to cows down at the meat plant. At least the deer lived wild and free.
