Well for the first time in 6 months I actually got mine early, it arrived yesterday.
I was pleasantly stunned.

I suppose it'll turn up after the mailman has had a read.

I agree that the news services probably made it sound worse than it was.

ok so I have family there and that makes me a bit bias, also makes it easier to get to the beach as they has a resident pass. Travel early or late and you can miss the traffic.

The biggest question is if you want to rig a centerboard or run a standard RC fin and bulb.

I've seen a few at the local auto store. not a low of juice though.

They had lots of copies at the WBS.
Also there's a special coming out in dec about small wood craft.

Only two days back at the desk and I already have WB withdrawals.

so it's at the end of June.....only 10 months of build time....hmmmm

could have sat there all day.

Right after that I headed to the WoodenBoat store booth to buy the plans for Tom Cat but shock and horrors they didn't bring any plans with them. :(

It was my firt woodenboat show and even I spotted Joe on one fo the Schooners and introduced myself (was that a bad idea :D ), he's kinda easy to spot.

Last year there was a fantastic wooden boat at a slip just outside the boat shed at the northside marina.
Any idea if it's still there.
It looked like a motorsailer.

My in-laws live on the cape, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled to catch a glimsp of Kathleen each time I'm there.
She should be easy to spot being 28 feet. Vanity on the vineyard is only a 20 footer...

So, do you reckon there'll be less jet skis about this summer. :)
