Well for the first time in 6 months I actually got mine early, it arrived yesterday.
I was pleasantly stunned.
I suppose it'll turn up after the mailman has had a read.
What's the latest it's ever been?
no, and I had to re-order the lastone it never showed.
I know the yacht clubs well. All very well organized.
I agree that the news services probably made it sound worse than it was.
Seems the weather is worse today...
Those blocks are going to be wicked nice.

you can edit the photo's in photobucket and resize them there.
The member GregH was building an 18' version of Tomcat.

ok so I have family there and that makes me a bit bias, also makes it easier to get to the beach as they has a resident pass. Travel early or late and you can miss the traffic.
Here's a pic of a RC model cat.

on a pond, sheltered harbor, open water on the bay side or Nantucket side?
It'll help determine the design.

what about a trickle charger like this http://www.batterymart.com/battery.mv?p=ACC-50000
cheaper too.
I've seen a few at the local auto store. not a low of juice though.
They had lots of copies at the WBS.
Also there's a special coming out in dec about small wood craft.
Only two days back at the desk and I already have WB withdrawals.
so it's at the end of June.....only 10 months of build time....hmmmm
could have sat there all day.
Right after that I headed to the WoodenBoat store booth to buy the plans for Tom Cat but shock and horrors they didn't bring any plans with them. :(
Guys, dove...

I agree with Joe.
I spent the most time on cimba compared to all the other boats. there was something just right about her.
sitting by the wheel felt like sitting in your favourite chair.

Actually I think it's this one

I'm sure the owber of the outboard was more upset about scratches than the owner of the skiff.

Last year there was a fantastic wooden boat at a slip just outside the boat shed at the northside marina.
Any idea if it's still there.
It looked like a motorsailer.
there's an exhibition ``The Yachting Photographs of Willard B. Jackson," which runs at the Peabody Essex Museum through Jan. 21
Planning on checking it out myslef, here's a link to a write up...
SWMBO's family lives in Dennis so we're very often on cold storage beach, when I get tired of toasting in the sun I sit on the rocks watching for wooden boats among all the FS. I'll be keeping an eye...
Got my tickets and I'm going for the whole weekend. Cheated, and got a friends summer condo to stay in.
Don't know anyone but hoping to meet everyone :)
Check out this page

Just let me know if you decide not to take it.

She's in a slip on the north side of Long Wharf, just down from Christopher Columbus park.
Pasted her many a time on a lunch walk, when I worked downtown.
Thanks guys.
Todd know what you mean about house jobs. SWMBO is also starting to talk little ones too, so if I Don't start now I probably never will.
Cheers
Has anyone built or is in the process of building one of William Gardens Tom Cat?

I'm just south of Jim in Needham, we've been lucky the worst flooding is northern Mass and southern NH and Maine.
I'll be heading over to the Needham reservoir later today to see if any of the...
that seems to be on a boat tied to the side of Kathleen.
Check where they are standing.
Bill you got me thinking (hard thing to do on a Friday).
There seems to be an engine hatch, but looking at the launch pics I don't see any prop.
Here's the building of her.

My in-laws live on the cape, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled to catch a glimsp of Kathleen each time I'm there.
She should be easy to spot being 28 feet. Vanity on the vineyard is only a 20 footer...
So, do you reckon there'll be less jet skis about this summer. :)
