    X2! And the pics of "Foal" alongside "Beucephalus" are great! Maybe a bag for the spars and oars and hang it under the jib boom (when not in use, of course)...something that matches the sail covers?

    Very nice boat! Good score. Calkins tended to build robust boats, so I'm sticking to my 800# guess. What size motor are you putting on it?

    Is this one of George's early skiffs or an early Bartender double ender? A pic would help, but I'd be betting you're looking at a hull weight around 800 lbs plus your motor.

    Strip planked, as I recall. But Steve sold Schooner Creek a while back, so I'm not sure if anyone there still recalls the builds. You still see them up at PTWBF now and then.
