Well I dont think it's that easy to make a calculation based on the max RPM. The power produced isn't proportional to rpm. And yes, the consuption depends on many other parameters, hull type ans...
Bonjour Stéphane,

The left design is the current state. And yes it allows only athwartship mouvements.
That´why I though using s/s chain. With the two chains option, the first bolted links will endure lateral...
Anthea has this sort of faked dead eyes, with turnbuckles inside.
These are real dead-eyes, able to hold the rig.
But I don't like them and don't want the maintenance they impose.
I want to keep...

Fantastic and very instructive to see this metal work.
Just a question about the chainplates: why riveting after welding?
Mecanicaly speaking, welding should be strong enough I gess.
According to a friend of mine, it´s a Dixme rule.
Used in combination with a compass (the two pins type) to do a scale transfer from a design without any calculation.
Obviously the transom can't wait for gold leafed letters ;)
Thanks again for sharing your beautiful work.
She's now registered in Marseille ?

Beautiful boat and a lot of canvas in this rig.
Can we learn more about the schooner herself?
I just saw this boat has been built in Erol Agan shipyard.
Twenty years ago I asked them à quotation for building an Anthea sistership.
They had indeed a good réputation at that time.
The Tirhandils are, to my eyes, the only buyable boats in Turkey.
They are the Caïques descendants, and might be good sail boats.
Be aware these boats must stay in "theirs" waters. I mean the...
The STX France Shipyard, in St Nazaire, just signed a one billion + euros contract with the Royal Caribbean International US Company to build a huge passenger ship.

In spring 2011 I was at a classic boats meeting in Marseille, when a gentleman and his wife, Thérèse and Jean Jacques, came and asked me to have a look at Anthéa.
Some days before, he saw on my blog...
PM me when you are here! I always have some beer in the fridge!
Btw My spinnaker looks ugly on this pic, i had a problem with the sock line , not allowing to full hoist it.
Last WE was organised the first "Voiles Classiques de Sanary" in Anthéa's home port.
Just a friendly event this time but who knows ? May be next year it'll be a bigger event.

I read in one shot the article about Ardelle!
Beautifull text and pics about a fantastic boat.
Yes Steven! for sure!
But I had to delay my trip since my professional re-organization takes more time than I thought.
According to my double activities in France (mainland) and French Guiana I won't be able to be neither in Brest nor in Rochefort this year.
But those who are coming in France are welcome for ans EBS...
Here are beautifull pics of the Hermione ready to be lauched soon.
