    Absolutely they are, but the full size ones have a lot more detail showing alterations, calculations, all sorts of stuff.

    We usually sit on the cockpit floor with a shower bag hanging from the boom. Wouldnt do this in a Marina or crowded place but we try to avoid those.

    I think I would go for a longer topsail yard, it would help it set better without the Topsl peak tending to "fall off". On our working boats here the bottom of the yard is "strapped" to the gaff...

    What I have found works pretty well is to have a "jaw" on one side of the boom only, with the boom itself forming the other side. Drill a hole in the "jaw" for a simple string luff tensioner.
