Sailing backwards, this pulling the mizzen boom forcefully in while pointed in the wind? Like a reverse run?

Nice I did not realize easing the mizzen helped pull through a tack, I'm gonna try this next time when im sailing under just jib and mizzen. I couldn't get it to tack without the main.

I've found it difficult yo get a shot of the whole boat while on it :P

I'm not 100% sure how the planks sit against the keel were done, there's no obvious fastenings I could see. The keel is bolted through the frame, could be coming up through a bolt I suppose.

Noticed discoloration in the bilge which I assume means water has penetrated the ply there. It feels hard still but I can’t tell of this is new or not I don’t recall seeing it before. ...

This is exactly what I ended up doing, just put it in reverse to get a good clearing. Mix of strong wind and waves hitting me made turning challenging. Learned a lot during this launch.

BTW the folks are etrailer.com are pretty useless lol, everyone keeps mentioning them. I've passed these very specific questions and they just link me to articles that don't answer the questions....

These are the bearings it used, one was still intact and I found them in pairs from some eBay hubs no longer for sale. The sizes match the spindle where I measured.
