    The real problem with the seaclipper or searunner idea is the rounded off edge of the ply.
    That looks really bad when finished bright - It was just a really bad suggestion on my part.

    A wet suit can't be kept dry, unless you never get in the water.
    Its made to suck up water.

    You need a "dry" suit to keep dry. Completely different thing and lots more expensive (or used to be).

    Stayed masts seem complex, but are really easier.
    You will get use to a single piece mast quickly.
    27' is about the same height as the Hobie 16 mast.
