    If you are still trying to remove the TAPE, warm it with a heat gun on as low as it goes, or try a hair dryer to heat it.
    That will lower the risk of gouging the surface with the razor scraper.

    Yes, the station spacing 'should' be given but is not in that chapter; it is 4 feet from #1 through #8, and 5'6" to stem and transom. Not made clear in the book.
